Beschreibung
This ULEZ exempt and road tax exempt classic is in beautiful Platinum with red leather interior . A 1961 Mk2 Jaguar 3. 4. Manual, original Moss gearbox with overdrive on 4th gear and wire wheels . 68000 miles on the clock. All the numbers match. The car has had 5 previous owners and always been well cared for. There is a box of paperwork with the car and an original manual. The Wire wheels are in good condition with matching new Vredestein sprint classic tyres all round.
An electronic ignition distributor, a new battery last winter. KN air box ( we also have the original). This car starts on the button. There is lots of lovely wood in the interior, and to top her off the number plate 98 PTG is worth quite a lot on its own but it comes with the car. If left parked up for a few weeks the speedometer jumps around for the first couple of milesWe bought her a couple of years ago from Bonhams Historic auction at Ascot but have only really done 3 weddings for friends, and been to the coast a few times since. There are very few Jaguars in this beautiful platinum colour . We are private owners but have too many cars. Owning a MK2 has been an itch that needed scratching but my wife prefers her BMW 2002 ( better all round vision) and I don't really have the time to drive it. The car is not a concourse show car but mechanics, brakes, paintwork, body and structure are all good, the interior has no rips or unusual wear and she drives very well. The engine note from the 3. 4 six cylinder is fantastic.
This car is ULEZ exempt and road tax exempt
