Offered for sale is my much loved and coveted 1984 Ferrari 308 .
The 308 had been developed since its introduction in the mid 70s and by the time the QV version of the wonderful mid mounted 3 litre V8 engine Ferrari had hit a wining formula, the performance it should have had but with reliability of 4 valve fuel injection . The engine is mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox with the famous dogleg first and that iconic gated manual shifter .
Sitting behind the wheel you are greeted by the factory MOMO steering wheel and that famous binnacle which is a characteristic of many of the most iconic Ferraris including the fabled F40
Finished in the rare and desirable colour of Nero Black with Cream interior it presents very well and has been maintained very well during its 39 years .
Originally a US car this one has been changed to euro spec at great expense , loosing the ugly American bumpers , side marker lights and large wing mirrors , the front has also benefitted from a genuine GTB Berlinetta front spoiler which finishes the front so well .
It was then repainted to a very high standard in its original Nero Black .
The vehicle drives without fault and is used regularly by myself as it has been all its life so unlike a lot of Ferraris , the engine and in particular the hoses and electrics have not been left to develop gremlins . I really would drive it anywhere and I have used as my daily car for periods in the better weather.
Although the vehicle has covered 98k it looks and drives like a car that has done a quarter of that , but that is the reason it’s advertised at a reasonably low price .
Supplied in Florida - USA the car has been used as intended and has a great history file from both the US and here in UK . Recently having all belts changed and ignition renewed at Keys Motorsport in Silverstone , from whom I purchased the car myself .
Supplied with all keys , handbooks and even the much coveted Tool kit and original Jack as well as a comprehensive history file.
The perfect car to use and enjoy as well as a great investment as Ferrari prices continue to rise . Will be supplied with 12 months MOT and is Tax and MOT exempt next year ( also ULEZ ? )
