Its four-carburettor double-body Weber engine offers a powerful and hypnotic sound beyond 4000 rpm and up to a roar at 7700 rpm, characteristic of this factory-issued model in 1978, before the introduction of fuel injection on the Ferrari 308 in 1980.
Only 92, 800 km (58, 000 miles) on the odometer and only three previous owners.
This superb Ferrari 308 GTS, with immaculate bodywork, left sunny California for the sunniest Greece a few years ago, driven by the Greek mechanic who had it in the United States and who still owns it today. A tear in the driver’s seat leather will be repaired before delivery of the vehicle. The sublime Ferrari 308 GTB/ GTS was designed by the legendary Leonardo Fioravanti, then a coachbuilder at Pininfarina. He is also responsible for some of the most beautiful Ferraris of the 70s and 80s. Presented at the Paris Motor Show in 1975, the Ferrari 308 GTB/ GTS celebrated its 50th anniversary last year.
