1982 honda CBX1000 Pro Link 2 previous owners that has only covered 2382 miles.
The bike was purchase from John Banks Motorcycles on 10/ 02/ 1982 by a Mr. Rundle of Ipswich. Original bill of sale included. First Service was carried out 30/ 05/ 2009 by Kingdom Motorcytcles of Ipswich.
The previous owner purchased the bike from the estate of a friend who had kept it locked away for years. The bike was stripped and checked over, due to the time the it had stood. New fork seals were fitted, Carbs stripped, cleaned and rebuilt. tank cleaned out and checked for rust, thankfully it had been drained and dry stored. A couple of items were sent away for re chroming to Derby plating, engine bars and chain guard.
The panniers are with the bike but have been taken off and put into storage.
The bike rides like new, so smooth just how I remember as I had a new one back in the day.
I have owned both types of CBX1000 twin shock and Pro Link, both are a joy to ride however, the Pro Link is a much better ride. Only 10% of CBX's were Pro Link making them very desirable. I purchased the bike with the intention of using for runs on sunny days. I did not get a chance this year so I have decided to sell and let someone else use as it should be.
