This fantastic Buick has previously been comprehensively refurbished to a high standard. Interior is like brand new everywhere,
Exterior paintwork is in excellent condition in original Seminole Red, proper large white wall crossply tyres. Engine runs spot on with great cherry bomb exhaust, auto gearbox smooth as it should be.
Servo & master cylinder completely rebuilt, new wheel cylinders & hoses all round.
All oil & filter changed, flushed with new anti freeze & deionised water added, all new fluids, plugs, leads, points, rotor, cap, coil.
Tank flushed and E5 petrol now used.
This had been in a static private collection for quite a long time, so now comprehensively recommissioned for road use.
Registered to me as it?s been to a couple of local shows.
Radio is not currently working, not checked it as it?s am anyway, new cd radio player fitted in glove box.
Had to remove the air con pump to get to the dynamo, new brushes fitted in that. Not put the pump back as it?s unnecessary over here and eats up the fue anyway, it?s in the trunk and easy to fit back if required.
Online spec for this 57 Special is 20 miles per imperial gallon, quite remarkable for six litre v eight.
Any inspection very welcome, it really is as good as it looks.
Poss part ex for another classic, especially a short bed truck, cash either way.
