For sale: 1961 Buick Special Deluxe. The car arrived new in Italy in 1961. It ran very little at first and was restored in 2018 by a second owner (still in Italy). It subsequently arrived in France in 2021. I have owned it for a year and would like to sell it for another project. It features the invincible aluminium V8 of 215 cu in later adopted by Rover, whose power was increased from 155 to 185 hp during its restoration (finish 'Skylark'). Automatic TH350. Power steering. Electronic ignition. Colour "Iridescent Turquoise" part of Buick’s catalog of the era. Recent work carried out: replacement of all front suspension bushings. Fitting of four new tyres with whitewall stripes. Excellent cruiser with 6 seats, very pleasant to drive and turning heads on every outing, but above all it starts at the turn of the key and runs like clockwork. Collector’s vehicle registration.
