For sale: a 1961 Buick Special Deluxe.
The car arrived new in Italy in 1961. It was driven very little in its early years and was then restored in 2018 by a second owner (still in Italy). It subsequently arrived in France in 2021.
I have owned it for a year and would like to sell it for another project.
It features a 215 cu in aluminium V8 (later adopted by Rover) whose power was increased from 155 to 185 hp during its restoration (finish "Skylark").
TH350 automatic gearbox. Power steering. Electronic ignition.
Iridescent turquoise colour, part of Buick's catalogue at the time.
Recent work: replacement of all front suspension silents/ bushes. Fitted with four new whitewall tyres.
Excellent long-distance cruiser with 6 seats, very pleasant to drive and sure to turn heads on every outing.
Historic vehicle registration.
The MOT will be carried out at the time of sale.
Price negotiable within reasonable limits and in front of the car.
