We have here advertised my 1993 Vauxhall Calibra 16v with Original Redtop engine with nearly 85'000 miles on which is very low considering the car has just turned 30 years old!. I am only the SECOND OWNER of this car and have owned it since may 2020 and have done numerous jobs on it mechanically and cosmetically but there are a few jobs still left to do which is mainly my reason for advertising as i just do not get the time to give it as a car like this should have, on that note i am in NO DESPERATE rush to give it away and would not at all be interested in any part exchanges/ swops of any kind. Mot is due March 2024 and the last couple of mots i have put it for its sailed through with no issues at all. Engine is totally standard and was serviced just after i bought it, sump gasket and baffle plate was changed, oil and filter, airfilter and cambelt kit as did not have proof of when was last done. Coolant and thermostat changed, undersealed, fuel filter, front discs and pads, injectors professionally cleaned, throttle body gasket, spark super 4 plugs, engine flush and probably loads more lol. Do haveit written down. Body work is in a way to be expected, few marks (before i bought it) here and there, did have professionally detailed which unfortunately brought out marks from old dirt on bonnet, bottom of rear arches will need attention at some point in the future, pics can be provided if required. Wheels have been powder coated and are pretty immaculate, Toyo Proxes TR1 tyres then fitted to replace the previous perished Goodyears (still holds road well) Bilstein shocks fitted allround as original ones had gone sloppy, made hell of a difference to rideability. The list goes on.... Interior wise the seats do have wear/ cracking, i was hoping to replace but not by looks now. Dash has cracked/ broken (for those of you that know these you know what i mean) Roof lining was all peeled and falling off so have took out and had professionally retrimmed and is now mint, sunroof internal panel just needs refitting just havent had the time. Car has some service history, i did it last in 2020 and have done around 1500 mile (if that) since. Car is totally standard, only modification i have done is fitted a later type rear spoiler, was professionally painted and had to replace the led brakelight as old one had broken up inside. Black plug cover and metal oil cap are NOT now on car (Originals put back on) neither are Headlight protectors. Theres probably loads more i can say but please feel free to contact/ ask anything about the car, like i say im not giving it away, Private plate is NOT included and will be removed once a sale occurs.
