This is actually a TGB X-Motion 300, but the make does not come up in the list.
It is, simply put a Yamaha Xmax 300, with TGB badge. Reg no HK16 SVX.
TGB are best known for quads, but they also produce an almost identical Maxi Scooter to the Yamaha X Max in Taiwan, in the same factory.
According to the Yamaha dealer where it was MOT'd , it's the same as the 2016 model X Max. Although called the X Motion 300, it's actually 263cc.
There are only a couple of minor differences, most mechanical parts are identical and Yamaha parts can be used throughout. The differences are mainly in appearance. The handlebars are a different design and of course the badges.
I bought this a couple of weeks ago, to rekindle my motorcycling days. I hadn?t ridden a bike for close to 30 years and fancied this type of Maxi Scooter for its comfort and power.
A couple of rides locally & I realised why I packed it up before. Between the farmers leaving mud on the road, fallen fruit & debris from trees and the shocking state of the roads its too damn dangerous for me!!
So now its up for sale. Its kept inside under lock & key and I am not desperate to sell, so don?t make any offers, they wont be considered.
New items are - new front brake disc, new pads front and rear, new Michelin tyres front and rear, new battery, recent oil and filter change, air filter change, new brake fluid change, recent new head bearings. MOT till 14th September 2024. Current mileage is 22747, this will go up a bit as I will still use it on nice days and good roads.
Comes with 2 new helmets, 1 size Large, 1 Size Medium.
It also has additional security in a VERY heavy duty CLM handlebar lock.
It also has heated grips, handy for the winter, which the control for are on the central tunnel. It has two sets of keys and the owners guide.
As can hopefully be seen in the pictures, it's in very good condition, with the only stand-out fault being a crack in the speedo glass. However, I've had the glass off to check and the crack DOES NOT go all the way through, so no problem with rain leaking in. The engine is superb, starting very easily and running like a sewing machine. I was also surprised that it pulls extremely well, the extra poke from a 250 being very noticeable.

It also has a very large under seat storage, with a 12v power supply, so it's handy for work commutes.
