Honda SS50 5 speed. R registration. Last of the unrestricted mopeds. This bike has only covered 1116 miles from new. It is in original condition with a patina to match its age. The only un original parts I can see are the pedal ends but the mechanism is complete and works. It runs well and selects all 5 gears. I have previous MOT's to validate the mileage. I owned one of these in my youth but I'm away constantly and just do not use it. I searched for years for a good genuine 5 speed with the front disc brake and this is the best example I've seen and with a milage of 1116 I think it's a unique find. It is not immaculate, it has pitting to the chrome work and body but only in keeping with its age. As far as I can tell everything works as it should, lights, indicators, electrics etc. I preferred to keep it's originality and patina but if you wanted to change that and make it immaculate you would have a bike you could never replicate with the mileage and history. It's an individual preference I guess. Where can you find an original unmolested 47 year old un restricted moped with only 1116 miles from new. It's a once in a lifetime find.
