For sale is my 1951 Chevy 3100 step side truck. I have owned this truck since importation from California in 2015. I spent a long time looking for the right truck and was excited to find this one as it only had one owner from new. I hold the original certificate of title as issued by the state of California, the release note confirms the mileage at a genuine 27, 381. In short, one USA owner and one UK owner (me). The mileage as of today is 30, 388 miles
Whilst in the USA and just before export the truck underwent nearly $50, 000 worth of work, I hold all the invoices. The work was extensive and too much to list, but a few upgrades are as follows?
- 5 speed manual transmission
- 9? Ford diff conversion
- Magnaflow muffler
- Sound deadening in cab
- Chevy blue paint
- American racing wheels
- New brakes front and rear including front disc conversion
Running the original 3. 5L straight 6 engine which received considerable attention during the $50, 000 works, so runs perfectly with no nasty rattles or smoke. The original tools lay underneath the bench seat, most of which are unused and still wrapped and sealed in the factory brown wax paper. I recently had the bed restored, the original wood decking has been sealed and lacquered to preserve it for years to come. The front bumper has recently been re-chromed, all other chrome work is bright and in great condition. I also have the rare and original front bumper overriders and top bar, this I have not refitted as I prefer the cleaner look. The interior is in very original and clean condition. One note is the bench seat, as it?s the original seat trim and I did not know whether to repair the split, this dilemma I will leave to the new owner. Underneath the truck is solid and in amazing condition, no areas of rust at all.
