A lack of space and three other cars in the family, regrettably I have decided that it's time to part company with our little friend and give another 500 enthusiast the opportunity of owning and cherish a piece of true motoring legend.

I bought it in Italy in June 2017 from a neighbour who had the car since 2003 (I believe there was only one previous owner before him). I had it transported to the UK were I had it registered on the 1st February 2018 when an age related UK registration number plates were issued by DVLA and a UK V5 was issued.

499 cc (18. 2 horse power) rear engine which pulls very well and starts first time and drives very well.
The engine and manual gearbox work as they should.
The interior is in good condition with black vinyl seats and rubber mats front and back.

As well as whole batch of invoices I have available all the UK import papers and the original Italian registration logbook as well other Italian documentation with many service stamps.

There is no denying the appeal of the 500L - it's cool and chic, it oozes charm, a real iconic classic design of a bygone manufacturing age; always fun to drive and draws many smiles from people that see it on the roads, a real character car, nimble and fun with it's characteristically classic panache and real easy to park in even small spaces.

SERVICE HISTORY SINCE PURCHASED
When I imported the 500L in 2017, I had a lot of work done on it by a local Italian mechanic and over £1, 500 was spent on servicing (full service in January 2918).
Some body renovation and many parts were replaced and fitted including (see receipts)

New sunroof
New rear lights
New offside stub axel
New nearside stub axel
2 new sparks plugs
2 new spark plug rubber boots
Brakes were overhauled and new front wheel brake cylinders
New rear wheel brake cylinders
New brake shoes
New ignition contact breaker points
New condenser
New drive shaft boot seals
New UK spec genuine headlamps so they point in the right direction
New air filter
Oil change
New cowls and gasket
New rocker cover gasket
New original carburettor
New original Bakelite carburettor insulator
New fuel pump
Four new tyres
UK spec headlights etc

WHEELS, TYRE & BUMPERS
New matching Debica Passio 12" tyres in very good condition (with plenty and even amount of tread) which were fitted in December 2018 and have been driven for less than 300km from when the car was MOTed on the 16th January 2019 with recorded 67137 kilometres.
The chrome bumpers are in good condition with some tarnish commensurate with age.
The steel rims are in good condition with minor signs of age.

BODYWORK
The Rosso Corallo paint has nothing more than an odd minor scuff and light chip in places.
All the widows/ glass is in good shape with no significant marks or damage.
All of the glass and door rubbers are in excellent shape.
Both headlamps (UK spec) are intact, and the rear tail lights are good, with a little more sign of age.
The black folding canvas roof is in good shape it opens and closes easily but as the center strut needs refitting (2 pop rivets) I bought a new canvas roof which I have not fitted yet and will be provided as part of the sale.

INTERIOR
Black leatherette seats are in good condition with no rips- just a split seam on the top of the passenger seat.
Black carpets in good condition
The black front car's rubber floor coverings are in good shape, with light wear commensurate to the age of the car with a few tears in places.
The door cards are intact and tidy. The facia is in good condition, with no cracks or anything other than minor signs of age.
Black plastic steering wheel with metal spokes- wheel is in good condition with a couple of splits.
Trapezoid instrument panel in good condition

All in all, a lovely little classic which will only increase in value

Vehicle History
ITS NEVER BEEN ABOUT SPEED BUT THE STYLE OF THE JOURNEY- A BRIEF HISTORY BACKGROUND OF 500s

The Cinquecento (500 in Italian) story goes back to 1957 when FIAT launched the small, cheap, functional and economical Cinquecento. It was the perfect car for a post-war Italy and proved cheap and reliable for consumers.
