This reluctant sale is for my my UK Impreza turbo wagon in Metallic green that I've owned since September 2013. I've used it as a second car and I've done very few miles in these 10 years (about 15k), especially in recent years. I'm having to sell as my wife prefers me to drive my impending grandchild around in a more sensible car.
It has been modified;
front mounted intercooler with customised front air dam
larger turbo
uprated injectors
dump valve
large exhaust (it does have a cat and is legal)
uprated clutch
uprated front brakes
strut braces
It all works very well together and gives over 300bhp at the wheels (I have the dyno report from 2013). The car has a detachable tow bar fitted in 2010 and I have an additional set of wheels fitted with winter tyres. The summer tyres are little worn Michelin Pilot 4's. In spite of the performance potential I've just used it as a useful occasional run around and the tow bar has been used for a garden trailer rather than anything heavy.
Vehicle condition:
Exterior: Generally excellent and without dents. Paintwork is green metallic and very good. There are some small stone chips at the front and there are some scratches near on the rear bump near the tow bar hook up. The main fault is that there is rust (non-structural) around the rear wheel arches that shows. The summer wheels are non-standard alloys and the paint is a bit flaky - they could do with refurbishment to be honest. The winter wheels are perfect and hardly used.
Interior: Really excellent with clean cloth seats in a nice blue/ green colour. It has a Thatcham alarm and I've got the 2 keys.
Mechanical: Really good. The air conditioning does not work and the driver door switch for the passenger door window isn't currently working. I have just replaced the gearbox with a second hand unit - it works perfectly.
Service history: Quite a lot. I've got receipts for the clutch and brake upgrades. I did the last engine oil and filter change about 1000 miles ago
The car was first registered on 13/ 6/ 2000. The V5 says 5 previous owners. I can see that the last owner had it for 3 years.
