This is a mostly original 1993 Defender 110 Station Wagon.
Powered by its original 200 Tdi engine on 166845 miles which has been regularly checked and tweaked when needed.
Its still on its original chassis and bulkhead which had been welded 3 years ago by as Land rover specialist and is solid.
This defender has been a rolling restoration for the past 3 years and has had lots of service/ overhaul work done during that time.
The list of work goes as follows:
Welded the outriggers and footwells
Welded holes in the chassis
Clutch changed
Bushings replaced
Replaced all coil springs
Replaced all shock absorbers
Replaced rear door lock unit
Replaced panhard rod bushes
Replaced tyres
Handbrake springs replaced and adjusted
Heritage grill fitted
Original radio reinstalled
Added Td5/ Tdci steering wheel
Replaced all steering ball joints
Added heavy duty adjustable towing equipment
Redone all wiring to correct Lucas bullet connectors
Replaced all lights
Added galvanised bumper and light guards
Added series 3 light bezels
Fitted correct arial for radio
Replaced glowplugs
Replaced heater matrix and resealed heater box
Added rear crossmember step
All mechanicals serviced last year
Tappets done 3 months ago
Replaced water pump
Replaced steering damper
Replaced Front axle bearings and seals
Replaced front hinges
Updates wipers to TD5 era types
Added extra water jet
Replaced indicator stalk
Replaced headlight switch
Installed rear wiper motor and wiring
Added Gwyn Lewis wheel arch covers front and back
Still needs a bit more work for it to a fantastic car.
Such as a repaint, headliner reupholstered, repairing the second row door frames and the C pillar base which would need welding or replacing.
Original grill and steering wheel included with the car.
