Description
I am very reluctantly having to sell my Mark 2 Jag. Having thoroughly enjoyed owning the car for the last 21 years I am keen that a future owner gets as much pleasure as I have.
I bought the car, which had undergone a full bare metal restoration (extensive documents, receipts and photos), in July 2002 from the Classic & Sportscar Centre. Since then, it has been kept in a de-humified garage and used a few times every year with a continuous set of MOTs. It is a very drivable and usable jag and is priced to sell.
Registered on the 1st January 1968 the 3. 4 / 340 Mark 2 Jag is dark blue (indigo blue 1967) with light grey Connolly leather.
Since I have owned the car I have had the following work done (all with receipts):
Engine rebuilt (fully balanced), gearbox (manual) and overdrive rebuilt, new clutch, breaking system upgraded to include all round discs brakes, suspension upgraded (spax), bumpers re-chromed, new chrome wire wheels fitted, prop-shaft balanced, electronic fuel pump and regulator installed, electronic ignition and kenlowe fan fitted, stainless steel exhaust, front and rear seatbelts fitted and the clayton heater rebuilt.
The paint is beginning to look little tired in places ? notably at the bottom of the front windscreen and in some places at the bottom of the doors which is reflected in the price.
It has an agreed value insurance of £32, 000 and has an MOT until June 2024. It is a very drivable and usable jag and is priced to sell
