an amazing historical car. 1957 Triumph LaDawri Del Mar Roadster. built at the Long Beach LaDawri factory on a new 1957 Triumph TR3 chassis. less than 3500 miles on the car since its completion in the late 1950's !! fine craftsmanship. all original and period correct. LaDawri built fibreglass and plastic bodies from 1957 to 1962, for different pedestrial vehicles, to give them a sportier and more modern look. bodies were made to fit various wheelbases and tracks. this was their showcase/ display vehicle to show customers what was possible with their bodies. this car was built at their factory in Long Beach, California. it utilized a near new Triumph TR3 as its basis. most of the TR3 was repurposed on this "corvette-esque" body conversion. this car is a true survivor, with original paint and interior, as well as ultra-low mileage. suitable for virtually any car show anywhere. perhaps the best in the world. runs and drives as it should. just finished top end motor refresh. original finishes. factory luggage rack. rare opportunity to own a British/ American car that legends are made of. safety fuel cell. worldwide shipping. california licensed several years ago, now sold on bill of sale.
