Selling my 1960 Matchless G9 to buy a Matchless G11 from a relative. The bike has a 40 year maintenance history created mainly by the previous owner. I have owned it for about 5 years and it has been used on club runs and other rides and has been a very reliable bike. It is 12 Volts electrics and has LED lights, indicators and an anti wet sumping tap fitted with a warning system. Starting is very easy as it has an electronic ignition system. Has recently had a steering head overhaul with new bearings fitted. Recent rear shock absorbers have been fitted and the previous owner fitted a hydraulic clutch operating system.
Not a concours de elegance bike but a very good looking machine with good chrome rims carrier and top box.
