The Appeal
In the late '50s and early '60s, nothing went around corners quite like a Matchless G50. It was so good that the US authorities tried to ban it. No wonder then that good examples are prized by collectors.
This G50 has been a proper labour of love. It has been built up over 30 years using a variety of tasty ingredients, many of which are Norton Commando parts. There is also a 600cc Rutter race engine.
The vendor has spent time recently preparing it for the road. So the buyer could push it in that direction, preserve it in their collection or perhaps consider track use. Whichever option you choose - or all three - you get a unique example of the classic G50.
The vendor says:
“A 'one off' classic which can easily be returned to full race trim.”
