Mercedes 300sl 1985 'E' needs minor work , starts and drives off the key
I’ve have had a lot of questions so I will try an answer all in advert
Very genuine car with low mileage unable to find history at the moment
Very solid never welded and covered in rust protection underneath just rust on offside sill
Hard top worth £1500 alone s/ h
The bulk head has passed water test and rear boot floors and rear arches are all solid no corrosion
Brown genuine roof in excellent condition
Today I have checked over on a ramp for mot
And it requires
4 tyres due to cracking, and cuts
front brakes need strip and repair, clean up
Bulbs not working rear and head light
Wiper motor is seized and needs freeing off
Fuel pump at rear needs securing bolt missing
DIY stuff
Also needs a boot lock barrel as lock seized and had to drill out
Few bits of Trim putting back together
New battery fitted
Car has been painted 20 years ago and slight reacting to paint on boot lid

I have never seen a body in one of these in so Solid condition
