BMW 3. 0 CSI, 1972, Italian rust-free car, part of a huge collection in the last 10 years. Matching engine.
Bodywork is structurally sound and accident-free, panel alignment is good with the exception of the driver's door that produndes slightly on the bottom and shows irregular gaps front and rear. Paint quality is excellent, chromework still original and very good, glasses are intact and scratch-free although the windscreen is delaminating along the edge. Engine bay is tidy and dry but has never been detailed, inner wings and front valance have been painted. Boot looks nice with all intact trim, tool set is partially present but tools are not original, spare wheel is not alloy. Interior is original in almost perfect conditions, needing just a deep cleaning. Front mats are missing, driver's door window switch is not original, gearbox lever gauntlet is unstitched.
The car drives fine but engine smokes a little, may be the consequence of the long storage. Tyres are very old. Complete with two sets of original keys.
