This is a 1955 Standard Eight classic in prestige condition for it's age. Having had 4 owners including myself, it has had no major work done due to living in waterproof garages and being thoroughly looked after. RUST FREE. I brought this vehicle from Walsall, UK, from a garage which was using it as a showpiece for the last 3 years, maintaining its condition through regular polishing and cosmetic work.
Photos will show you the excellent condition of the vehicle. Looks and drives like a dream. All original carpet. Only aspect worth mentioning is the roof may want renewing due to original cloth material being intact and age making it slightly discolored (67 years old).
The reason for selling is unfortunately the car is too small for me due to my size, otherwise it would have stayed in my family for generations due to its charming look and feel. A very sad piece for me to be selling.
No service history and MOT exempt, as well as Tax exempt due to being classed as a historic vehicle. I have a V5 to prove this which can be shown upon request.
Currently booked in for an optional, updated MOT and to have all the break pipes renewed in copper. A lovely historic classic Standard Eight that any car classic lover would adore. This vehicle has had no restoration adding to its vintage, original charm. A definite show stopper when taking small trips around town.
