1993 Mini Italian Job in very good original condition. One of approximately 125 remaining road registered cars of the original 1000 special edition produced.
These were supplied in either red, white or blue with white Minilite wheels, sports exhaust and 1275cc engine with SU carburettor induction. Various period additions like the auxiliary spot lamps were added to mimic the undoubted stars of the 1969 heist movie with which it shares its name.
This great example shows just 84400 miles on the clock, and comes with a lot of historical records to verify this, retained by its four previous owners. Recent works include replacement of the front wings and lower valance due to corrosion, new front disc brakes and pads, replacement water pump and alternator, and track rod ends. Tyres have plenty of wear left, floor and sills are rust free, and the interior is in excellent original condition for its age. The current MOT expires at the end of Feb 2024, but I will get a fresh 12 months ticket on it prior to selling. The car drives well with no issues, and I have no doubt that it will continue to increase in value over the coming years.
On the downside, there is some minor paint bubbling on the bottom of the boot lid and door bottoms which will need attention at some point in the future.
