The vehicle is bought from classic cars dealer. It had one owner before me.
Vehicle is currently registered and driving. A lot of work has been done on the engine: K-Jetronic was serviced, new engine oil and filter, new coolant, timing belt and spatk plugs, fuel pumps, transmission oil and filter. All is visible in photos. The car is in my possesion for three years now. The chassis and undercarriage have no rust, the original colour stands great apart from few scratches and two minor rust spots near rear fenders. The roof could need a paint job since it has minor cracks (visible in photos) and rear speakers and covers that are currently missing.
Everything else on the body and chassis is in good condition.
Interior wood trim is in great condition, everything in working order. Leather seats are original with few minor scratches. Front and rear seats are electrically adjustable. The Mercedes-Benz W126 is a series of passenger cars made by Daimler-Benz AG. It was marketed as the second generation of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, and manufactured in sedan/ saloon (1979–1991) as well as coupé (1981–1990) models, succeeding the company's W116 range. Mercedes-Benz introduced the 2-door C126 coupé model, marketed as the SEC, in September 1981. This generation was the first S-Class to have separate chassis codes for standard and long wheelbases (W126 and V126) and for coupé (C126).
The long 12-year production (1979–1991) resulted in 818, 063 sedans/ saloons and 74, 060 coupés being built, totaling 892, 123. W126 is so far the most successful and the longest in production for S-Class.
