Sturgess of Leicester are pleased to have for sale this fantastic 2011 Land Rover Defender 90 XS Station Wagon. This wonderful example of the iconic Defender has undergone an extensive course of tender-loving care with us here at Sturgess, by our body shop team and Land Rover trained technicians. It has been given a new lease of life with the greatest care taken both mechanically and cosmetically to take it from being an everyday runaround to a town and country show-stopper.
Cosmetically the Defender has had its original Orkney Grey paintwork coupled with a contrast black bonnet and roof. The black used is Land Rover’s Santorini Black Metallic infused with our own metallic formula, giving a spectacular finish. With gloss black wheel arches, headlight surrounds, wing top grilles and side vents this Defender is indeed very striking. Inside the car we have also given the interior a refresh with a gloss black switch surround & passenger grab handle. The Land Rover SVX Special Edition dual tone 5 spoke alloy wheels are in top condition with black paint hand dropped into the ‘Defender’ relief lettering. This car has been the star of our bodywork team with the members poring over it looking for any adaptations to help make this vehicle unique in a “faithful” way. To enhance its appearance, it has also been fitted with upgraded ‘Wipac’ LED headlights and side-lights.
Mechanically the Defender 90 has had a full inspection to make sure everything is in excellent working order. The previous owners have been very diligent with its maintenance with a mix of Land Rover main dealer and Land Rover specialist servicing. We have also performed a full service with all necessary fluids and filters replaced. It was originally undersealed by the first owner and we have topped up where required.
