1974 Kawasaki Z1A 900 totally restored with complete engine rebuild in 2018. Bought by me in November 2019 and only had summer runs since then. Registered as an historic vehicle it comes with a dating letter from Kawasaki Motors verifying the engine and frame numbers match this machine. Kawasaki tool kit and owners manual are stored under the saddle. Starter sprag clutch replaced in 2020 by DTech Motorcycles. Kept in my garage and started regularly. This is an excellent good looking machine that won the best non - Velocette award at my Velocette Owners Club Centre shiny bike night this year.
It starts easily on either the electric starter or the kick starter and runs well in all gears.
Last run this year was to the ACE cafe in October.
My reason for selling is because of my advancing years. ( 80 next June.) I am finding it too heavy to manhandle when pushing it around and need a lighter bike.
