Description
Norton Commando 961 Street Collectors Bike
Registered in 2019 (19 plate) is #6 of 50 Commando Streets made by Norton, in homage to a bike Henry Cole & Guy Willison created from a commando 961 on TV, it sold out within a week of launch in 2019!
This superb example comes in gorgeous black with silver/ gold striping (as did all of them) and has only 894 miles on the clock, so pretty much a new bike.
I will put on a full year’s MOT on it when sold.
This particular Norton Street has been fettled by Stuart Bodycote at (Motorvated) and has all the niggles corrected to make this a superb example. It has also been ceramic coated and will come with the ceramic spray used to remove flies and dust from when in use. It’s parked in a bubble when not in use, as you can tell it’s a pampered machine.
Standard Commando Street specification includes:
• Wire spoke black alloy wheels
• ABS
• Fatbar handle bars
• Ohlins gold front forks
• Ohlins rear suspension
• Brembo braking system
• Short 2 into 1 stainless pipe
• Polished alloy everywhere!
• Carbon - front mud guard, reg plate holder, fly screen, chain guard and (optional extra) rear hugger.
Norton’s really are something special, to sit on touch and feel, they ooze British retro quality and early collectable models are now very rare. This is even rarer than the norm… just 50 ever made.
This beast sounds awesome, rides lovely and attracts admirers everywhere I go. I can’t even fill up with fuel without an admiring chat to someone.
Very rare, in immaculate condition and with low mileage. You won’t get the opportunity to purchase one of these every day.
Sale Includes the Norton Cover and Norton Paddock stand, so it can sit comfortably in the man cave or bike collection perfectly…. or maybe even the house (so pretty to look at).
HPI/ finance clear, any inspection, V5 in my name, Norton handbook and two keys. No time wasters or tyre kickers, serious enquiries only.
I have a recommended courier to use or you can collect in person from DN9 Doncaster, South Yorkshire. No test rides unless sale completed (you wouldn’t be disappointed). Bank transfer and funds must be cleared before collection.
A collectors dream or for someone to use on lovely sunny days, a genuine reason for sale and open to offers.
I would consider a swap for classic car up to 1930s (Model T or similar) plus cash my way. Just ask.
