Description
Gorgeous prize winning Norton Domi racer rep 1963 slimline featherbed frame with a 500cc engine fitted the first owner of this machine on the original buff log book was Harold Daniell a former Isle of Man TT winner from the 1930’s and 1940’s a Norton works rider with 3 TT wins and 5 podiums also with 1 Grand Prix win the Norton was originally a 650cc Sports Special as stated on the original logbook it was found in a barn in 2011 and it had been there since 1973 with the original engine missing but the frame and registration and logbook were intact this machine has had a full complete nut and bolt rebuilt between 2011 and 2015 and looks like new and runs lovely with a 500cc engine being fitted both the engine and gearbox were also completely rebuilt too and was rebuilt meticulously hence the collection of receipts, I have owned the Norton since 2017 Hagerty insurance has valued this bike at £20k due to Harold Daniell link on the logbook, I am offering it to the market for £12, 995 which is great for a bike with so much history and would make a good opportunity for investment being so rare and increasing in value all the time I am based on the isle of wight, I can collect from the ferry if anyone wants a viewing.
