1990 Range Rover Vogue SE 3. 9 V8 Auto , LHD Hard dash model in factory white with ram leather upholstery.
LHD import that came to the U. K. in 2001 I believe originally from Monaco. The indicated mileage of just over 85k Miles is believed to be genuine and looking around the vehicle is entirely plausible, the car has never been restored or modified and certainly hasn’t been used off road like many now have.
Lovely interior in Tan Leather that has been very well looked after and clearly reflects the mileage, headlining I think was professionally replaced a few years ago and still looks well today. Original parcel shelf and un worn spare tyre , the original Jack and wheel are are sadly not present although I have been told they are in storage so may appear before the sale.
The body work has a lovely genuine feel too it and is very straight - a few small car park dinks are evident but there’s no signs of previous repairs or cheap “blow over resprays” a few paint imperfections as you would expect with the age but a really nice “user” all the panel gaps are as they should be. The sills and body x member are solid and look to be original, bulkhead looks sound with factory paint finish, the inner wings whilst not bad are showing signs of surface rust in places and may as a minimum want cleaning and some fresh waxoyl to preserve them a little longer (any true RRC owner will know certain panels are almost service items!!) the chassis is totally solid and original with no signs of “blowing” on the rear curved sections or outriggers. Door bottoms and door pillars (which are as you probably know usual rot areas) look nice and original. The A pillars by the window rubber are showing some surface rust and would benefit from treating and repainting satin black to improve the appearance. Lower tailgate has no holes and outer skin v good , although lower inner edge starting to look a bit sad , the top tailgate frame is starting to show age with surface rust but is still structurally stable.
Starts and runs really well, engine starts and idles well hot or cold and the gearbox shifts nicely , drives very well - not your normal worn out wallowing old Landy this feels and drives like what it is - a well maintained classic with very sensible mileage. It looks to of had a gas kit fitted at some time but hasn’t run on this for a long time and I don’t think the tank is fitted any more.
All the usual troublesome electrics actually seem to work ok - all of the windows , heater , wipers , lights etc function as they should as well as screen demisters.
For sale on behalf of owner who is reducing there collection due to lack of use , the mot has expired (see mot history online for further info) I see no reason why it wouldn’t pass with flying colours.
