The car has been prepared for timed rallies, Amazon Cars of Suffolk fitted sump and steering guards, Bilstein shock absorbers and Minilite replica wheels are also fitted. There is also Brantz International 2 tripmeter fitted which comes with full operating instructions.
It also has a spare set of original wheels fitted with new snow tyres. There are also 4 inertia reel seat belts fitted with an additional rear lap belt..
The car was resprayed in 1989 and there are some minor blemishes in the paintwork and some corrosion along the bottom edge of the doors.
Mechanically the car has a 3 branch extractor manifold, steel timing gears, K cam and MOT until 18th July with no advisories. The car drives well with fully operational overdrive.
There is comprehensive history including original service record booklet which unfortunately is only completed for the initial 2 services. However there is also a hand written exercise book recording all work completed between May 1966 until March 2003 when the mileage was recorded at 117000 miles.
There are also numerous bills for work completed, replacement parts and MOTs from 1982.
The car is mechanically very good with the engine having been rebuilt with new pistons 10000 miles ago.
