One family ownership from new, full service history from new, covers on checked seats from new, original mats, handbook, 3 sets of keys, radio cassette, Jade Green with Grey check seats, MOT till August 2024.
The car has just had a new head gasket, cambelt and water pump, new oil and coolant in Dec 2023, as there was an oil leak from the head gasket. This was done by a VW Audi Specialist.
However, the car does need attention to the carburettor. It is a Pierburg 2E3 and may need rebuilding. Kits are available. It starts and drives. The garage thought it drove well. But, there is smoke from the exhaust, believed due to running rich.
I did a cold dry compression test myself (6 Jan 2024) which gave figures of 9. 7, 10, 10, 10 bar.
The tyres are due for replacement soon.
The car is therefore being sold 'as being in need of repair.'

July 2013 Remove cylinder head assembly. Specialist repairs. Pressure test. reface valves and seats, machine face, new cambelt (48, 279 miles).
June 2011 New radiator.
