1978 Daimler 4. 2 Sovereign XJ6 Series III Automatic. 074 last 3 of the chassis number makes this a very early series 3. Regency red with barley leather upholstery. This lovely Daimler has been cherished and loved and only used occasionally and today has covered just 83843 miles from new. Good Series III XJ’s are now becoming very rare and collectible, this car is a very early example coming from the first year of production. A very solid car with a strong chassis and no signs of any rust or rot that is still driving lovely today. Starting on the button with good oil pressure the engine is still very smooth and the automatic gearbox operating correctly. The car specification is still as it was in 1978 with the original radio cassette still in place but with a concealed bluetooth streaming amplifier fitted. The car comes complete with its original owners handbook and a few bills and invoices for works carried out and two sets of keys. Now tax and mot exempt however a fresh mot has just been carried out with no advisories. Absolutely any inspection is welcome. Stainless steel exhaust, Recored radiator, New rear discs, pads and overhauled calipers. New coolant and fuel hoses. Fully Serviced. Great paint and chrome. Any inspection welcome .
