Here is our wonderful little mini finished in period Harvest gold with complimenting original dark tan vinyl trim, this matching numbers example has covered only 45k miles in 47 years with only six previous keepers in that time. 850 Minis are now very rare and in mid seventies form are a very useable variant and fun to drive, they offer the pure Mini driving experience as it was intended. Ten inch wheels, single central binnacle and large steering wheel. This Mini still has its original dealer registration plates and original window sticker.
On the road it is a real gem to drive. The original 850 engine is very willing and its performance will surprise, this Mini has just ben fitted with a stage one kit which includes a three branch Manifold and a full Maniflow side exit exhaust system, so it has a wonderful period sound. At the same time fully adjustable suspension was fitted, consisting of Hi-Lo suspension. Spax Gaz shocks and adjustable camber. This was topped with Cooper S disc brakes and a very sexy set of Minilte wheels with wider profile Falken tyres. The results are fantastic as you can see from the images. Period colour Minis are also a guarantee to draw a crowd as so many of the seventies Minis had colour changes and so few are left with their original looks.
This Mini has a very well preserved interior, the original seats are in fantastic conditon as is the original roof liner. The original steering and central speedo binnacle is all you need to get out on the road and enjoy driving.
This Mini also has a solid shell with its original wings and front panel and solid floors and boot floor. The paintwork is generally good with just the odd blemish.
It is now MOT and Tax exempt. Seventies Mins are increasingly sought after in matching numbers form and are very hard to find these days and they are so easy to drive and enjoy.
