REDUCED TO SELL. I am regretably selling my Alpina D3. This has been by far the best car I have ever owned and I'll be genuinely sad to see it go. Unfortunately personal circumstances means it has to go. You will be hard-pressed to find another one in this condition and spec, as it is they are incredibly rare cars. It seems to draw compliments quite regularly despite not being flashy or loud like an M3. It has literally been a perfect car for me, it has been faultless, economical, comfortable, practical and is certainly no slouch when you need it.
It's in fantastic condition, exterior wise the paint looks stunning in the sunshine. It does have the odd small stone chip on the front and minor one by the petrol cap. The wheels look great and are unkerbed, however have started to get the typical corrosion from the diamond cut ends and would benefit from a refurb to be 100%.
Interior wise it is absolutely stunning, the colour combo is beautiful, everything works perfectly as it should, no broken buttons, no scratched trim pieces, no worn or damaged bolsters etc.
The Alpina D3 gets taken from BMW, to Alpina's factory where they fit their own twin turbo set up, adaptive suspension, gearbox mapping, along with upgraded braking system and intercooler. They also remove the run flat tyres and add the usual Alpina cosmetic upgrades and provide an Akropovic quad exhaust. These changes come together to offer 345bhp, with 0-60 coming up in just 4. 4 seconds, with a top speed of 173mph, whilst also still being able to offer over 40mpg on motorway journeys. It is worth remembering this car was the fastest production diesel vehicle for a while, and received rave reviews from every motoring publication that completed a road test.
