I've owned my XL1 for over 5 years. In that time I've driven it regularly but sparingly. I am the second owner, the first being VW UK. On one notable occasion I drove to Italy and back without issue. The car has been maintained exclusively at the VW specialist XL1 centre in Milton Keynes. It has just returned from a full service and has a new 12 month MOT. The car is immaculate in every respect, has never been damaged or abused but used just enough to maintain all systems in top working order. These cars do not like to sit idle for months on end. One of only 200 cars sold by VW worldwide. A piece of automotive history and art. My assumption is that any serious buyer will be familiar with the unique features of the XL1.
