Here for sale is my 1963 Austin Healey Sprite MK2.
I have owned this car 8 years but the previous owner had it for 48 years. He purchased the car in 1968, I even have the receipts for this, he part exchanged his mini and gave an extra £151.
The car is matching numbers and comes complete with a hard top, soft top and a tonneau cover. Still has its original side screens too.
These mk2's are much rarer than the Mk1's and more usable. It shares many parts with a frogeye but with better braking and storage.
It has recently had new tyres, radiator, battery and dynamo. If you want to know what a MK2 drives like this is the real deal with no modifications, it is still even positive earth.
It had body work done to it in the 1990's as you can see in the pictures, and this isn't to todays standard but looks good from a few feet away, if I was keeping it I would get it resprayed to get it to show condition, it has had no major welding or panel changes and does not require any, completely rust free.
The engine was also refreshed then but does now have a minor leak but nothing to detract from its use, just being honest.
The car though mot and tax exempt is mot'd and you can check its mot history and you will see why i'm selling it, it just does not get used.
Feel free to ask any questions.

A great British sports car great for the B roads and those sunny spring days.
