1975 Vauxhall Viva 1256cc De-Luxe
Two door saloon in silver.
Only 21500 miles from new with lots of MOT documentation.
Original bill of sale from the Vauxhall dealership when the car was new.
The Viva has had little use in the last 50 years and has quite a few years when it was not used at all.
I purchased the Viva over a year ago and decided to inspect the engine for my own peace of mind.
The engine condition was excellent, at this time the timing chain, chain adjuster, clutch and all seals and gaskets were replaced.
New brake pipes, flexi hoses and fuel lines were also replaced.
The carburettor was overhauled and a new fuel lift pump was fitted.
I have covered over 1000 miles in the Viva with no problems.
The floor and chassis are in excellent original condition and are rustproofed.
The only repair I can see is a small patch in the spare wheel well.
It looks that the doors have been replaced at some time as they are slightly lighter in colour to the rest of the car.
The interior is in extremely good condition for a 50 year old car but does have a couple of marks.
The original carpet is fitted and in good order - no carpet in the boot. The engine, gearbox and rear axle are excellent and the car drives superb as you would expect from a 21500 mile car.
It’s rare that you can buy a 50 year old car and drive it home!
