1991 Volvo 340
This 1397cc Volvo 340 was registered in April 1991 and has had three registered keepers overall since then (with the first owning it for 28 years). It has an MoT valid until May 2024, with a guaranteed 20, 562 miles now showing on its odometer.
Condition
This car really is in good condition for a 23 year old car that drives 100%. It does have marks and scratches consummate with age, and the front valence needs attention. There is some light surface rust in places, but nothing significant. The rest of the panels remain in original and untouched condition and make the car really stand out in its beautiful white coachwork. I've photographed the worst of it, on the valence. I've driven it 100 miles this week, and she didn't miss a beat! I also replaced the battery for a new one at a cost of £75.
Inside, the car is like new and still retains that fresh Volvo smell. There are no marks, rips, or tears in the interior. History
H138 EVU was registered to Ms Iris Hill on 17th April 1991, at her local dealership, Drayton Motors Garage Ltd in Rochdale.
She kept it until 2022, tucked safely away in the house's warm garage, save for infrequent trips to the shops. She then gave up driving, and sold the vehicle onto a Volvo enthusiast, before I then acquired it.
All original handbooks are present, as is the stamped service book highlighting the love that this car has received, the original PDI warranty certificate, and also the contact details for the original selling dealership and sales manager. The original dealer number plates, tax disc holder, keys and spare keys (with dealership supplied keyrings) are present.
In the boot, the original spare wheel and toolkit remain untouched, and are as new.
Viewing is required to appreciate this car in person. I'm not asking a huge amount for this extraordinary low mileage example, as I am aware that it needs a little bit of cosmetic work to bring it up to scratch, so have listed the price realistically.
