Mileage is a very low 23700km, which is in keeping with the overall condition throughout this bike.

I imported this XT from Germany during lockdown as I was specifically after a ‘79 as they have the best colour scheme (In my opinion)
It now has a V5 and UK reg.
All work was carried out by me including a full engine and gearbox rebuild with new Wiseco piston and bearings where necessary. Everything on this bike works as it should and she runs and rides perfectly.
Upgrades include twin head lubrication and 12 volt conversion.
As you can see from the photos I have fitted many new parts like original headlight, wiring harness, gaiters, chain and sprockets, regulator/ rectifier, Battery, shocks, Pirelli MT43 tyres to name only some.

I’m not interested in swaps/ px thanksI have owned four XT's and this is by far the most looked after bike, all the threads are in great shape and there is no damage anywhere. I was going to keep this one but an impending house move has didctated otherwise.
