Description
For sale is my beautiful 1963 Mini 850 Super DeLuxe. Finished in its original shade of Fiesta Yellow with correct Pastel Blue interior.
The car was fully restored approximately 12 years ago during prior ownership. It has always been garaged since and is in excellent overall condition.
Has had many desirable modifications to make it more useable in modern traffic and more fun to drive. Here are some of those features;
Original engine fitted with;
Desirable 12G295 Mk1 Cooper cylinder head
Highlift camshaft
Twin SU Carbs
Alternator conversion
Engine wiring has been professionally redone
Three branch manifold with stainless steel exhaust
Front disc brakes
Valuable Les Leston wood rim steering wheel
Recent clutch release/ throwout bearing replacement
The bodywork and chassis are in excellent condition, the interior is immaculate, it is a blast to drive and has never let me down. With the engine mods, performance is on par with an early Cooper.
I drove it most days throughout last spring and summer, before tucking it away at the end of September. It has been driven a couple of times over the winter, during longer dry spells.
This Mini is ready to enjoy and to the best of my knowledge doesn't require any work or repairs.
I’m only entertaining selling it as I’ve seen an old Alfa that I fancy. No space for both! Not desperate to sell, so serious buyers only please.
Located in the beautiful village of Mumbles on the Gower Peninsula in South Wales.
