Opis
For sale is our Mini 850, a true classic that is rarely found in this condition and condition today. The car offers a wonderful combination of charm, originality, and solid engineering. Perfect for newcomers to the Mini scene, lovers of British classics, or anyone looking for a small collector's item with potential.
The Mini has been lovingly cared for over many years and has always been well maintained. It is clean and tidy, drives and brakes perfectly, and immediately delivers that typical, direct Mini driving feel. The car is in excellent condition and is suitable both for someone who wants to drive it right away and for someone who wants to gradually perfect it.
⸻
Body & Exterior
Visually, the car makes a well-maintained impression. It has likely been repainted at some point, which is quite common for Mini models of this age. Particularly noteworthy:
• Solid basic structure
• Three minor rust spots, which are purely cosmetic
• Doors, hoods, and hatches close properly
• No signs of major rust damage
The rust spots can be repaired at some point for purists, but they pose absolutely no problem for everyday or seasonal use.
⸻
Interior
The interior is in truly beautiful condition for its age:
• Seats and trim are clean and well-preserved
• Original and unmodified dashboard
• Carpets are in good condition
• Controls are functional
• The only real flaw: the headliner – this would need to be replaced.
We are considering whether to have this done before the sale.
Overall, the interior feels very cozy and well-maintained, without any typical major signs of age.
⸻
Technical & Engine Compartment
This is where the vehicle's greatest strength lies.
• The engine starts reliably, runs smoothly, and sounds healthy.
• The clutch and transmission function flawlessly.
• The brakes work well.
• The underbody appears clean and solid.
• And the highlight: The engine compartment is exceptionally well-maintained.
• Hardly any rust to be found.
• Clean surfaces.
• No signs of neglect.
Such a well-maintained engine compartment is rare for Minis of this age and speaks to a good maintenance history.
⸻
Current & Planned Work
As long as the Mini is still available, we are continuously taking care of minor tasks:
• Minor cosmetic improvements
• Technical inspection
• Optional: Headliner replacement
⸻
Driving Experience
Anyone who has ever driven a Mini knows: There are few cars that convey so much emotion, lightness, and direct connection to the road. The little car is incredibly fun, agile, easy to handle, and almost automatically puts a smile on your face.
This Mini is not a museum piece, but an honest, well-maintained, and fully functional vehicle – perfect for driving, maintaining, and further developing.
⸻
Exchange possible
We are generally open to fair exchange offers – just make us an offer.
Price on request
The car has spanish papers and was also first registered there, that makes it quite rare as some parts are different to a normal Mini.
