This beauty was imported from the US in 2019 having been dry stored for c. 40yrs after the owner was killed in military action, hence the low mileage.
Initially the importer had the tank cleaned, re-lined & re-painted along with the headlight, oil tank & side box, the exhaust re-chromed all to a high standard & a superficial re-commissioning of the mechanics then MOT'd. All other chrome parts didn't need chroming by the way. It was then sold to a collector of motorbikes from where I obtained it.
Since owning it I have had virtually all rubber parts replaced right down to the crank seals exposing the evidence of no visible internal wear, again suggesting the mileage to be correct.
It has new high speed tyres & innertubes, coils, condensers, voltage regulator/ rectifier, carburetor & jets properly cleaned & set up so starts and runs beautifully as new again. In all I have Yambits invoices for 47 bits - nothing left to chance!I have covered the history in the above description but please ask if there's any thing missing.
