The burgeoning popularity of classic off-road motorcycling events aimed at has really invigorated the market for retro dual-sport bikes. Launched in 1976, the Yamaha XT500 had a big, thumping single-cylinder four-stroke and rugged simplicity that earned it a devoted following that endures to this day.
