Honda CB1000F “Big One” Superfour, one of the last, 1998 registered.
This is a spectacular motorcycle and needs to be in a collection. It is probably the nearest thing to a new 26 year old "Muscle Bike" you will ever see and is completely as it left the Honda factory apart from a stainless radiator guard, Werx silencer and an optimate lead. The Original guard and gloss black silencer are included in the sale. The silencer has just been restored by Dream Machine. It has covered only 10299 miles and is in stunning, remarkable condition. It has had only two former owners. Much of its life has been spent in a vacuum bag. It goes without saying that everything works. It has had no restoration (except the silencer) and is virtually flawless, please look at enlarged pictures. You are very unlikely to find another one in this original condition.
The MOT runs until the end of July, but I can re- MOT at sale, subject to availability. The last service was at 9345 miles, but since December, I have fitted new iridium plugs and brand new Dunlop tyres. It has had a previous carb overhaul after its long slumber. It has a Service book, Haynes manual, an Owner’s Handbook and previous MOTs. The original tool kit is under the seat. There are two keys.
I bought the bike at the end of last year and finally got it to where I wanted it but I have regretfully realized at 71 that I don’t have enough upper body strength any more and so, with reluctance I need to part with it, or store it again.
