Mk 3 Spitfire with overdrive. Beautifully restored over a 3 year period but isn’t quite finished and has only had a short test drive. It still needs door and bonnet gaps setting, soft top refitting, and electrics tidying up. Chassis was sandblasted and powder coated (no welding needed) and body has had new floorpans and sills and has been beautifully repainted in signal red (with no filler needed). Many new parts including fuel tank, stainless exhaust, suspension, brakes, clutch (I have a full list of works undertaken that I can provide to any interested buyer). The car has been garaged for the last 5 years+ but unfortunately due to family circumstances we’re unable to complete the restoration. I’m some distance away and didn’t carry out the restoration myself but have details of the work carried out to date and can arrange viewings.
The price reflects costs of purchase and restoration to date.
98% of the work has been done (I have a video of it driving) so should be an easy finish for someone in time for the summer.
