Description
Time has come to say goodbye to our lovely 1958 4 door Morris Minor.
We have owned five Morris minors in succession and this one is so good we’ve kept it for almost 8 years
The bodywork and paint is in excellent condition and the car drives extremely well.
I will be sad to see it go!
However, advancing age and increasing aches and pains are making it difficult for me to maintain the car and, as far as I'm concerned, self maintenance is a very big part of the pleasure of owning a classic car.
Modifications include:
1098cc engine with appropriate gearbox and differential
Front brakes are now 8” drums
Flashing LEDs in the trafficators
Converted to alternator last year
Various spare parts included
BMC workshop manual (grubby, but still works well)
Quite a big history file which includes the original Bill of Sale £726 and 2 shillings (includes Purchase tax of £232 and 7 bob
Dated 8th may 1958
Also the original 12 month warranty. (Sorry, expired a while back)A very good looking car, the colour is Birch Grey, which is actually a light green and quite rare.
Engine pulls very well and it can hold it's own in modern traffic.
Fitting flashing LEDs in the gtraficators means that others can see your signals
