Beskrivning
Very good condition car, with full factory fitted Driving Dynamics mechanical enhancements: uprated supercharger, bigger brakes, bespoke magnesium wheels, updated suspension with Koni shocks and beefed up front & rear anti-roll bars, sports exhaust. Inside the leather is in good condition, some re-connellising has been done, it has factory white dials and a starter button. Everything works, but the aircon part of the climate control system has a leak in the evaporator pipes, which means - although it works and gives ice cold air - it won’t hold the gas for long. A repair is about £2500, which been priced into the asking price. Or could just open the windows as I have been doing. The registration number is not included. Cash or BACS payment please. No P/ X. If you have never driven a DB7 with the Driving Dynamics mechanical kit then you’re in for a surprise. Even in auto version, the extra urge is noticeable and the handling kit makes it almost go-kart like, with sharp steering and much better controlled body roll than the standard i6s. The bigger brakes are also a quantum leap ahead from the normal cars too, as they were lifted from the much heavier V600. The factory sports exhaust has a deep rumble when idling, that also transmits the supercharger whistle rather nicely. The DD kit cost around £19k back in 1999, but then the car went through a number of owners quite quickly, the last one before me - using it as a daily driver - put most of the miles on. I acquired the car in 2010 with 79k miles on the clock and have been steadily bringing the car back to its present very good standard. I had it repainted in the original colour 4 years ago, taking care of some rust in the rear wheel arches and lots of stone chips at the same time. The history file is amazing, and all kept in a nice leather bound ‘book’. Having owned a DB7 Vantage and a GT, the i6 is by far the easiest to live with - being much easier and cheaper to run with almost as much speed and certainly as much fun.
