1988 BMW 635 CSI HIGHLINE

Cherished by original owner for 28 years- originally registered 3 FTR and it wore this number plate up until 2014 when Mr R decided to take his beloved 635 off the road, the garage who were looking after the car dry stored it for him and then actually purchased it from him in 2016- the car has been in a barn since 2014- due to redevelopment of the barn the car has become available.

I have recently replaced the starter motor and fitted a new petrol pump(although this is the incorrect type) and engine sounds lovely, unfortunately a brake pipe has gone and fluid leaked out on drivers front- so no brakes.

Bodywork is a mixture, it doesn't appear to ever been painted, panels are very straight etc, there is rust on both front wings around the front windscreen and around the sunroof- various other blemishes etc

Underneath will need some attention- sills and parts of floorpans but its not terrible- had previous repairs that could be improved on.

Interior is fairly good- leather has dried and would benefit from some restoration but no major damage any where just some wear you would expect.

Please note although previous owner had the car from new till 2016 which is confirmed by the large amount of paperwork it shows as 4 previous owners not 1 as apparently it was registered in his name twice, wife, businesses etc etc As mentioned this is confirmed in paperwork.
