MGB Roadster 1969 in Old English White with red leather piped white interior. This car was built for me by CCHL (I took delivery in 2015) using a new Heritage shell (undersealed with extra sound deadening pads). 16k miles since. New MOT. My aim was to get the best of a traditional 60s MGB with some modern refinements. Huge spec including rebuilt engine (unleaded head), rebuilt gearbox and reconditioned overdrive. New chrome bumpers and overriders; Power steering (electric with dashboard adjustment to suit driving style); Red leather armrest console, gearlever gaiter and handbrake cover; Red carpets, dash top, sun visors, door cards; Chrome winders/ door pulls, door handles/ gear bezel; Tourist Trophy sports exhaust/ manifold (lovely sports car exhaust noise!); 5 x chrome wire wheels with 2 ear spinners; Moto Lita wood rim wheel; Immobiliser; Battery cut out switch; Single 12v battery; Boot rack (re-chromed with British chrome); Refurbished windscreen/ re-chromed quarter lights; Mohair red zip out window fold-away hood (refurbished scissor hood frame); Mohair red hood cover; Full red OE vinyl tonneau cover; Map pocket (footwell); Uprated seats (very comfortable) with headrests; Fully carpeted (red) boot and spare (unused); SU chrome air filters; Electronic ignition; Electric fan; Brake servo; Alternator; Oil cooler; Gas strut boot and bonnet stays; Polybushed suspension; Braided brake/ clutch hoses; Greenstuff pads; Chrome badge bar; Period-style number plates; Inertia reel seat belts. New MOT (Historic vehicle so not mandatory but I like it done) and £2k just spent (detailed invoices to prove) on engine/ gearbox/ overdrive (these were removed from car and overhauled by professional classic car garage and O rings, seals and gaskets were replaced plus crank pulley, new solenoid kit, prop shaft UJs and new bolts). Coolant/ oil/ filter/ fuel filter were changed, tappets adjusted and suspension, propshaft and handbrake cable greased. Drives beautifully with plenty of power, lively performance and handles very well thanks to polybushed suspension and power steering. Great for touring or sporty driving. Insurance agreed valuation of £35k.
