Description
These are just one of the top 5 bikes ever on the road. Had literally hundreds of bikes, and these, for me, are just about the perfect package. Looks, handling, braking, speed, comfort, cheap, simple maintenance . Priced to sell, no haggling, is worth every penny.
- details above
Have priced this properly for what it is. If want something needs sorting, doing up, etc then get one for 1500 and spend loads of time and money on it. If want a bike to jump on and go to Barcelona, or down the shops, or track days, take kids on the back, or keep up with any of your mates on any bike they turn up on at £20K, then just buy this.
Has some marks commensurate to age of course. Wheels could be powder coated maybe a matching silver if want to show off, but as can see is in lovely clean order.
Have not long changed plugs/ oil/ filter/ air filter.
Has Zero Infinity screen and Oberon mirrors. Check forums. This reduces dirty wind by 90%, even if 6ft 2 like me. Plus have dropped the footrests and controls by about 25mm due to my duff knees. This improves comfort about 100%.
Michelin Pilots. The best on these by miles. Very stable and excellent cornering.
All pads good in the R1 type callipers, brakes are excellent.
Not sure what the stainless can is but sounds really nice. Just fruity enough without being stupid, and fueling is spot on as when doing the plugs i also binned all that AIS junk on top of the engine. When set the carbs back up it ran like 110%. Instant lift and response. Even though is a de-tuned R1 engine, this can crack on with anything if you want, or toodle along 2 up at 80+
Has alpha-dot/ datatag. No annoying beep alarms. Battery is A1. Chain and sprockets A1.
Has two spare keys. Old MOTs and receipts and V5s, plus full legal plate if you live someplace where these things are important.
Run on Esso Supreme only (still non ethanol, for now)
Has easy centre stand, and prop stand. Light to wheel about. Very easy controls and very nimble to chuck about on tight roads. Have fitted new Oxford grips as prefer a slim hold on bars, plus fitted the long adjustable levers so can get everything tailored to suit. Hardly have to move hands or feet to ride this.
Transmission is slick. Slight clutch basket noise on tickover, but clears when clutch in or in gear, and is quite acceptable, but worth a mention.
This is my normal person ride, other bikes tend to be odd or builds etc. Getting another V twin KTM just for a change.
Can come to Leominster station and ride home or i can organise pro delivery to door for average of £120, more if long ways off of course...... bank transfer deposit to hold deal, and pay for carrier, and balance in bank transfer on delivery is fine. Cash or transfer on collection as well of course.
Having read all the above, no silly offers. This is a very very nice Fazer, and worth the asking price all day. Check others for sale/ sold. Check how much i have spent in time and money getting this bike spot on. Check the all passes MOT history to see has been well looked after, PLUS is only just coming to 22k miles, half of most! Good last point that.
