I have for sale my 2010 987 Gen 2 Porsche Boxter 2. 9 PDK in Meteor grey with grey interior and alcantara and leather seats. This must be one of the best available of this era and is in immaculate condition both visually and mechanically having covered just over 28, 000 miles.
The car comes with a full service history by Porsche dealer or Porsche specialist.
The last service carried out was the major service at 26425 miles and included:-
Engine oil and filter replaced.
Spark Plugs replaced.
Serpentine belt replaced.
Pollen filter replaced.
Air filter replaced.
Both transmission oils replaced.
Brake fluid replaced.
All other levels replenished.
This Boxter has obviously been very well looked after throughout it's life and been lightly used. Examination of the MOT records show that the mileage has ben pretty evenly distributed throughout it's life.
The last MOT was carried out in January of this year with no advisories.
The condition of the car would indicate that it has been garaged for most of it's life.
The car starts and runs beautifully, the duel clutch gearbox operates smoothly both in auto and manual mode.
I purchased my Boxter after an extensive search for the right car. I wanted a Gen 2 car because of the upgraded direct injection engine and the PDK box, a much improved auto from the previous tiptronic.
the engine does not suffer from the Gen 1 IMS problems.
I am only selling the car because I am the wrong side of 75 and find that getting in and out is getting increasingly difficult and I am only using the car because I feel guilty if I do not exercise her on a regular basis.
I have owned several Porsche throughout my life including two 911's a Cayman and a Cayenne. The Boxter is definitely the best drivers car I have ever owned.
It is time for someone else to take care of it, as have all the previous owners, and enjoy the spectacular performance.
