This is an extremely rare RHD Buick 41C convertible.
In 1940 278, 784 Buicks were produced.
Only 542 were four door convertibles and of that only 45 in RHD. All built by the factory in Detroit.
Less than 100 of these convertibles are believed to exist.
This model’s options include dual side mount spare tyres, of which less than 124 units were produced. Buick stopped production of cars with dual side mounted spare tyres in late 1940.
A few Buick convertibles from this period are available for sale in Europe from £70k - £85k.
UK Reg number: WXS 334
A very rare opportunity and a real show stopper.
This car was imported to South Africa in 1940 for the Manager of General Motors South Africa. A solid example with a glorious straight eight Dynaflash engine. Workshop manual to hand.
Items need addressing, but a superb example of this special rare car. A four door convertible Buick from 1940 appeared in the film ‘Casablanca’.
